Follow the Steps Below to Start Streamlining Your Workflow!
Getting started is simple and easy. If you utilize a hosting provider, they will need to help with the installation of the GruntWorx Agent. More information can be found in the Quick Start Guide.
Step 1: Begin by logging into your GruntWorx account and adding a single client or import a CSV file of all your clients.
Step 2: If you plan to use GruntWorx for form population, click Download Agent in the top right corner of the Dashboard.
Step 3: From Axcess™ Return Manager, export a .dat file from your client’s return, download and save it from the Batch Manager.
Step 4: Drag and drop or click into the dotted box on your client’s row to upload your client’s tax documents as well as the .dat file exported from Axcess™.
Step 5: Choose your product/s and click Submit!
Step 6: Once your documents are completed, download the Bookmarked.pdf and Pointsheet.xlsm. The Pointsheet contains all extracted data from the uploaded files.
Step 7: Click Populate on the Diagnostics tab of the spreadsheet and save the new .dat import file.
Step 8: To import into your tax software, from the Axcess™ Return Manager, Import the new .dat file into your client’s return.
