Gruntworx, LLC Completes SSAE 16 Type II Examination

Gruntworx, LLC, a Drake Enterprises company and leader in SaaS-based paperless tax workflow systems, today announced that it has completed its annual Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No.16 examination. The 2014 SSAE 16 report was compiled by the account firm BrightLine CPAs & Associates, Inc. (formerly SAS70 Solutions). The examination validates Gruntworx’s commitment to operational excellence and client satisfaction. The SSAE 16 Type II SOC I report covers the period from November 1, 2013 to October 31, 2014. “We are very pleased to have again completed this examination, completing the SSAE 16 examination reflects our commitment to our customers security and our control standards,” said Phil Drake, CEO of Drake Software. “This reinforces to our customers that we have the highest standards of processes, controls and procedures in place and can safely manage their confidential information.” SSAE16, which supersedes the SAS 70 audit standard, is the adopted version of the International Standards for Assurance Engagements (ISAE) No. 3402, Assurance Reports on Controls at a Service Organization, for use in the United States.
